These 3000-grade 3M Trizact Hookit Foam Abrasive Discs help increase shop productivity by eliminating the need for aggressive wool compounding pads and reducing polishing time.
Compared to traditional buffing, using 3M Trizact Abrasives for removing sand scratches can reduce the possibility of swirl marks, burn through, and other defects caused by more aggressive processes.
3M Trizact abrasives have unique three-dimensional abrasive structures which are distributed across the abrasive surface. As the structures wear, fresh mineral is exposed, delivering consistent finishes and longer disc life.
They help refine curly Q's, pigtails, and other inconsistent sand scratches.
Used damp, they deliver long life and less loading than dry sanding.
Foam backing provides plenty of control and consistent contact with the surface -great for preserving orange peel.
Allows technicians to refine paint scratches using a lighter dual-action sander instead of a heavier polisher.
When used with other 3M Trizact abrasives and a 3M Perfect-It Paint Finishing system, they can reduce overall polishing time.
When using a dual-action sander, make at least five passes with 50% overlap.
