Featuring 3M Precision-Shaped Grain (now re-engineered with curved sides) and a durable polyester backing, on carbon steel.
3M Cubitron(TM) 3 Flap Disc 1169F delivers up to 49% more total material removed compared to the 3M Cubitron II Flap Disc 969F 40+ grade and up to 66% compared to 3M(TM) Flap disc 769F 40+ grade.
It holds up strong for medium to high-pressure applications like beveling, weld grinding, deburring, and working on edges and contours. Plus, it leaves a finish that makes it a great choice for applications like blending and surface prep.
3M Cubitron(TM) 3 Flap Disc 1169F features our new proprietary 3M Precision-Shaped Grain now re-engineered with curved sides design that continually fractures into sharp points that slice cleanly through metal, unlike traditional abrasives which tend to plow through the substrate. This fracturing helps our 3M Cubitron(TM) 3 Flap Disc 1169F last extremely long and maintain a high cut-rate over the life of the disc.
